Job Description
- The V&A Waterfront Group of Companies (“the V&A”) owns, develops and manages retail, commercial, marine and industrial, hospitality (hotels) and residential to let properties within the V&A Waterfront precinct. It is accordingly a complex and diverse business.
- The Legal Advisor is responsible for ensuring a high standard of legal risk management as well as legal compliance with applicable legislation, rules, directives and policies pertaining to the business.
- The Legal Advisor is, inter alia, responsible for:
- drafting, reviewing, vetting and negotiating diverse agreements and leases applicable to the business and other legal documentation;
- dispute resolution (attending to disputes, including instituting and defending legal proceedings as required, providing instruction to and managing external service providers);
