Title: Legal Counsel – Portugal

Reports to: General Counsel – Europe

Responsibilities

• Act as the legal advisor for Hikma Portugal manufacturing site, supporting teams across operations, quality, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, finance, HR, tax, commercial and more.
• Partner with Compliance Department to supervise internal investigations, interviews, and prepare reports and memorandums.
• Draft, review, and advise on Group, European, and site‑level policies.
• Lead commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation to protect Hikma’s interests.
• Advise leadership on legal and regulatory matters, including GDPR, ESG, sanctions, EU competition law and local regulations.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of legal projects and ensure timely follow-up on all issues.
