Legal Counsel, Commercial Services (TMX Group)

We are looking for a commercial legal professional to support the Global Technology Services team and the broader commercial group. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide array of commercial contracts and technology agreements. Key Responsibilities

Independently structure, draft, and negotiate complex technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS, PaaS, cloud infrastructure, professional and consulting services, data licensing, software development agreements, Service Level Agreements, and hardware procurement. Provide legal counsel on emerging technologies such as AI/Generative AI, high‑criticality technology acquisitions, complex outsourcing transactions, source code escrow, and open‑source software licensing.
