Lending Specialist II – Contract to Hire (Banking)

We are seeking a Lending Specialist to support loan processing and deal execution within a banking environment. This role manages the loan lifecycle from approval through closing and ongoing servicing.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle


• Manage deal pipeline and coordinate timely closings with Relationship Managers


• Review and prepare loan documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy


• Support transaction execution, resolve issues, and manage risk controls


• Partner with operations teams for loan booking, funding, and servicing (payments, draws, payoffs)


• Communicate with lenders to address any pre-closing issues
