Job Description Teaching & Learning Responsibilities - Partner with classroom teachers across all classes to integrate library resources into the Units of Inquiry (UOI).
- Teach students how to navigate both print and digital media, focusing on research skills and critical thinking.
- Conduct engaging read‑aloud sessions and literature circles that provoke curiosity and reflect the diverse cultures within our school.
- Empower student agency by involving them in book selection and the organization of library spaces.
- Model and teach the ethical use of technology and online safety to our young learners.
Teamwork & Collaborative Responsibilities - Attend weekly grade‑level planning meetings to ensure the library collection stays synchronized with upcoming central ideas and lines of inquiry.
