Job Title: Librarian
Location: Zayed City, UAE

Responsibilities

• Manage the library’s collection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, and other materials.
• Ensure materials are properly categorized and organized for easy patron access.
• Assist patrons with research projects and answer questions about library services and materials.
• Plan and host events such as author readings or workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a library setting.
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal System).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Compensation

Salary: 1600 AED per month
