Job Summary:



The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards. The role ensures efficient kitchen operations by maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and timely food preparation during service.



Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines

- Perform mise en place and ensure ingredients are ready before service

- Maintain food quality, consistency, and portion control

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)

- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor
