Job Description: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will work per diem, various shifts, and weekends and will acquire CT images and evaluate exams for technical quality and perform CT examinations as requested and in accordance with established guidelines.
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist transports patients to and from the room when required as designated by the Manager. Prepares and dispenses oral contrasts as indicated per protocol. Assists in the positioning of patients during CT examination. Sets up sterile trays as indicated. Explains scans and procedures to the patients to set aside fears; properly performs all studies and records all data into the appropriate logbooks.
