Responsibilities

• Lead safety efforts for regions by designing, administering, and enforcing safety policies and programs across field operations, including vehicle, facility, dangerous goods, health, and ramp activities.
• Determine safety requirements and formulate plans and methods to improve employee safety in field operations, reducing costs, injuries, accidents, and property losses.
• Inform management of the status of safety activities taken to resolve identified hazardous operating conditions.
• Identify recurring vehicle accident and employee injury areas, recommend preventive actions, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Collect, review, and analyze accident reports and documents; monitor work injury and vehicle accident trends with management.
