Mortgage Loan Closer
Job Description:

+ Close first mortgage loans in accordance with applicable federal/state laws as well as company policies & procedures

+ Research, analyze, and problem solve system issues

+ Prepare mortgage packages for delivery to Settlement companies

+ Coordinate the closing & funding of assigned loan packages

+ Monitor mortgage loan process & ensure compliance with laws, practices, guidelines & regulations

+ Verify completeness and accuracy of approved credit packages

+ Determine amount to be withheld from loan proceeds, request and process internal payoffs and prepare request for loan disbursement

+ Ensure credit, underwriting and property conditions have been satisfied prior to closing

+ Maintain contact with lawyers, settlement agents and real estate brokers regarding the status of closing package

+ Prepare fully executed mortgage file for post-closing
