In collaboration with the Chief Ophthalmic Tech Specialist, the Lead Ophthalmic Tech Specialist provides direction and education to staff at assigned location. This job serves as a role model and subject matter expert for all technical questions regarding ophthalmic procedures and techniques. This job is responsible for all regulatory activities at assigned location and performs duties of the Ophthalmic Technician/Technologist as necessary.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:

• Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) certification at least at the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) level
