About the role
We are seeking a locum Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital for a minimum of three months. We could consider contracts up to twelve months. The Southern Blood & Cancer Service provides a team of 8 Medical Oncologists and 1 nurse practitioner, 5 Radiation Oncologists and 6 Haematologists working in a tertiary referral centre with strong links to the School of Medicine at Otago University. Dunedin Hospital is a 350-bed teaching and training institution that offers a full complement of sub-specialities and a training site for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. As such we encourage and support staff research and their continuing medical education. Our Service has a solid research program and we would welcome applications from Physicians with a sub-speciality interest or those with an interest in teaching.
