Logistics Administrator (Contract)
Location: Ellesmere Port, England, North West (CH65)
Job Type: Contract (6–12 months)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily delivery schedule to meet service levels
- Liaise with 3rd‑party transport providers, ensuring on‑time deliveries and invoice approval
- Maintain optimum customer service levels with haulage providers
- Generate and collate daily collection documentation
- Update all customer delivery details in the system and inform colleagues or hauliers of any special requirements
- Book in customer deliveries both orally and via customer portals
- Send confirmation emails to hauliers to confirm loads for the following day and associated rates
- Administer stock reservation processes in Microsoft D365
