Tridon Communications is seeking a Low Voltage Estimator to work primarily in Edmonton or Calgary, with travel to project locations and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate project costs for low voltage systems including structured cabling, security, access control, audio‑visual, and related systems.
• Provide support to Management and Operations, and conduct field and site assessments as needed.
• Advise on tenders, analyze tenders, recommend awards, and negotiate contracts.
• Establish and maintain tenders process, cost monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals.
• Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Estimate project costs using approved client rates.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and ensure estimates are feasible.
