Machine Operator - Food and Beverage Processing
Role
Process or blend raw ingredients into finished products by applying knowledge of materials, products, and processing methods. Set up, adjust, and operate processing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Duties
- Operate single-function machines to cook or process food products.
- Operate multi-function process control machinery through control panels or other systems to melt, mix, blend, cook, or package food products.
- Monitor gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify processing conditions and adjust process variables such as cooking times, ingredient inputs, flow rates, and temperatures.
- Produce finished ingredients according to specifications using raw ingredients.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet company standards and clear machine blockages as needed.
