Job Description
Job Description - Carrying, packing and stacking bundles of newspapers – it involves carrying bundles to the table, break‑bulking and packing, thereafter stacking the bundles back onto pallets.
- Line operations – it involves standing for a certain period of time at the Line Machines and occasionally needs to clear/carry jammed bundles of newspaper.
- Handling of Offline strapping machines – it involves carrying/lifting of bundles of newspaper.
- Work at the loading bay and oversee that the vendors and lorry drivers collect their papers correctly – it involves carrying bundles aside to check the labels.
- Transfer products manually and with pallet trucks.
- Data entry work.
Required Qualifications /Competencies / Skills / Knowledge - ‘N’/‘O’ Level or higher.
- Physically able to carry loads up to 20kg.
- Willing to take on rotating day and night shifts.
