Job Description
Minimum requirements - Matric (Grade 12) plus a relevant technical/maintenance qualification or trade (e.g. fitter, millwright, electrician, general maintenance).
- Proven experience in a maintenance role on a farm or similar agricultural / industrial environment.
- Previous experience in pig production or intensive livestock production will be a strong advantage.
- Experience working with wet feeding systems will be highly advantageous.
- Strong handsâon ability in faultâfinding, repairs and general maintenance (mechanical, basic electrical and structural).
- Ability to develop and run a preventative maintenance plan.
- Good problemâsolving skills with a practical, canâdo approach.
- Computer literacy for basic reporting and maintenance records.
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport.
