Job Summary
The Manual Grinder will work with Chamfer Grinders, and other various manual machines to produce premium quality, high precision, cutting tools. Will verify accuracy by using engineering prints,componentdrawings, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications.Use hardware on the build sheets to assemble final product to print specifications.Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the setup and offsets asrequired.
Studiesblueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part todeterminedimensions and tolerances for finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Verifies conformance of finishedworkpiece tospecifications.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material on machines such as mills, lathes,grindersand shapers.
