Summary:

The Production Support Engineer is responsible for the communication and maintenance of engineering information to the factory, suppliers, and contracted labor. This includes consulting on manufacturing process, engineering deviation approval, drawing and bill of material maintenance, and supplier consultation with respect to design intent and manufacturing clarification.

 

Responsibilities:

• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and manufacturing teams, including manufacturing quality, at Erie or Ft Worth sites to capture and investigate issues identified during prototype ‘rabbit’ locomotive development and near-term production (units 2-5)
