Job Description
Responsibilities - Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and other conventional machines in the cell/process.
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for accurate inspection checks.
- Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain pertinent records; shop‑paper and work in accordance with technical instructions and drawings.
- Work in an orderly manner and keep work areas, benches and machinery tidy and clean after use.
- Notify the Supervisor in a timely manner for any machine or tooling problems that could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
- Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
Requirements - NITEC/Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
