Job Description
Responsibilities - Manage and execute chartering activities for dry bulk vessels in support of trading and operational requirements
- Source suitable vessels and negotiate charter party terms with shipowners, brokers, and operators
- Monitor freight market trends, vessel availability, and cargo movements to support commercial decisions
- Coordinate closely with trading, operations, and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth voyage execution
- Handle voyage calculations, freight evaluations, and market comparisons
- Monitor vessel performance, schedules, and operational requirements throughout the voyage
- Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and industry stakeholders
- Support contract management and ensure compliance with charter party terms and company policies
- Assist in resolving operational or commercial issues related to chartered vessels
