**Job Overview**

**TITLE:** Massage Therapist – Part-time
**DEPARTMENT** : Therapeutic Services
**POSITION STATUS/HOURS:** Part-time position (8 hours/week).
Shifts are Wednesday and Friday 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and
Every 4th Saturday of the month 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
(The Saturday shift will replace the Friday shift for that week).
Non-benefit eligible position.

**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Massage Therapist uses manual actions to palpate and manipulate the soft tissue of the human body, in order to improve circulation, reduce tension, relieve soft tissue pain, or increase flexibility. He or she must possess a thorough knowledge of the body and excellent communication skills.
