EIPSA study - Emotional Intelligence training in Pediatric Surgery : Assessment of impact on clinical practice, patient experience, and team dynamics.
The master’s thesis involves the independent development of a training concept based on the RULER/SEL model. It includes conducting structured interviews with the 2 representants of each team professionals (surgeon, nurse, secretary) and presenting the results to tailor the training content to identified needs. A key component is also the development of 15–20 realistic role-play scenarios (each lasting 10–15 minutes) to be used during the training sessions. The work further includes the adaptation—novel in Switzerland—of the SwissPREMs-based satisfaction questionnaire for ambulatory pediatric patients, as well as the implementation of data collection and management processes.
