POSITION PURPOSE

Material Handlers of Linen under the direction of Supply Chain Management receives stores, collects, tracks and transport linen (sterile, clean and/or soiled) and other supplies (surgical equipment, food service items, etc.) as needed throughout SJML including off-site locations. Works well with teams, independently, efficiently and in a safe manner. Routinely utilizes computer, tracking software, handheld units, and associated Supply Chain equipment. May be assigned to a linen/supply delivery route and driving a delivery van. Must operate the van in a safe manner and abide by all Michigan driving laws.
