Materials Controller

Salary: £20.49 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday – Friday, Days (Early finish on a Friday) 
Contract: Contract 6 Months 
Location: Derby

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity to join a world‑renowned manufacturer, within the rail sector supporting their materials and logistics operation at a key site in Derby.

We are looking for an IT‑literate, detail‑driven Materials Controller who can confidently operate and update MS Excel‑based systems and quickly learn a bespoke internal platform (training provided). You will play a crucial role in managing stock levels, coordinating parts availability, and ensuring technicians receive the components they need on time to keep operations running smoothly.

Manage and process repairable materials and all related shipping documentation
