Job Description
The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Operate and assist with the running of the processing plant lines (sausages, emulsions, ham & bacon) including fillers, injectors, smokers and related equipment.
- Work on production systems to meet output, yield and quality targets.
- Understand and apply meatâcutting, part selection and basic butchery processing (e.g., distinguishing between cuts such as leg of pork vs oxtail).
- Support maintenance and cleaning of equipment and line as per operational schedules.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and GMP standards in the production area.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance / control team to maintain product standards and traceability.
- Be willing to learn, adapt and grow in a manufacturing environment; participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
