Mechanical Assembly Technician

We are proud to be working on behalf of our prestigious and world-known manufacturing client based in Diss. This client has an opportunity for a Mechanical Assembler to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidates will have previous experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment working with hand and power tools reading engineering drawings.

PRIMARY ROLE:
• To produce a range of brass and stainless steel gas control products, to exacting quality standards.
• Play an active role in achieving departmental objectives.
• Must be physically fit, as the role involves standing for long periods, and some manual handling.
• The ability to work to deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To build and test products under minimum supervision, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
