Mechanical Assembly Operative

Permanent position with a long‑standing engineering business in Grantham, starting ASAP.

Location: Grantham
Salary: £26,043.68 per annum

Hours: Monday‑Thursday 7.30 am – 4.15 pm and Friday 7.30 am – 12.30 pm.

The Mechanical Assembly Operative will demonstrate the following:

• Assembly of generators and motors using hand tools and air tools.
• Fault‑finding, identifying and problem‑solving abilities.
• Following drawings and diagrams.
• Responsibility for paperwork and job sheets.

We are looking for candidates who have experience as an assembly fitter, mechanical fitter, or production assembly in a fast‑paced workshop environment within automotive, industrial maintenance, power generation, electrical, production line, or similar settings.
