Mechanical Design Draughtsman—Steeledale, Johannesburg—R25 000 CTC per month

Minimum Requirements

• Certification or qualification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mechanical design, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Familiarity with PDM/Vault and ERP systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing‑ready 2D drawings using approved CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements and ensure manufacturability.
• Update and revise drawings in line with engineering changes and maintain accurate version control.
