Job Description
Mechanical Design Draughtsman
Steeledale, Johannesburg
R25 000 CTC per month
Minimum requirements:
- Certification or qualification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mechanical design, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
- Familiarity with PDM/Vault and ERP systems will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing-ready 2D drawings using approved CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design requirements and ensure manufacturability.
- Update and revise drawings in line with engineering changes and maintain accurate version control.
