Job Description
Responsibilities - Perform inspections of storage tanks and associated fabrication, erection, repair, and maintenance activities following project specifications and standards.
- Ensure compliance with API 653, API 650, and applicable international codes.
- Conduct fit‑up inspections, dimensional checks, alignment and visual inspections of tank components.
- Monitor and inspect welding activities in line with approved WPS/PQR and procedures.
- Coordinate and witness NDT activities – UT, RT, MT, PT, vacuum box testing, etc. – and review reports.
- Inspect hydrostatic testing, leak testing and tank calibration activities.
- Verify material certificates (MTC), traceability and consumable control.
- Ensure proper surface preparation, coating and painting inspections are performed.
- Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate with client consultants for approvals.
