POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant of Marshall Medical Center’s orthopedic clinic works with providers in an outpatient office setting with procedures such as arthrocentesis, drawing up injections, surgical pre‑op, splinting and casting, among others. Prepares exam rooms, obtains patient medical information/history, prepares patients for x‑rays, sterilizes instruments and performs clerical duties as well.
Ensures effective medical care is delivered to all patients in a timely, dignified, and caring manner.
Medical Assistants of Marshall Medical Center will be expected to float to other clinics when needed and perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and achievements of all Marshall Medical Clinics.
