$193,467.00 - $319,221.00


The Medical Physicist is responsible for supporting the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of radiation therapy through equipment commissioning and quality assurance, treatment planning support, radiation safety activities, and patient-specific QA procedures. The physicist works collaboratively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, therapists, other staff members, and vendors to maintain high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Perform routine and annual QA of radiation therapy equipment.

+ Perform machine calibration and dosimetric measurements.

+ Conduct patient-specific QA for IMRT, VMAT, SRS, and SBRT treatments.

+ Perform weekly chart checks and treatment plan reviews.
