Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We offer a permanent role of 80hours per fortnight with the Tirohanga Waiora site in Glenview.
Responsibilities
- Support tangata whaiora in developing essential life‑skills through individual and group sessions, including food preparation, house chores and safe hygiene practices.
- Facilitate social engagement activities to help tangata whaiora connect with others and participate in the community.
- Create and maintain a safe therapeutic environment, maximise therapeutic relationships, mitigate risk and use de‑escalation and emotional regulation techniques.
- Contribute to the overall therapeutic recovery culture of the 10‑bed residential facility.
