Mental Health Technician

Responsibilities Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our overnight team. In this hands-on role, you will work directly with patients experiencing behavioral health challenges, helping to ensure their safety, support their treatment plans, and promote a positive therapeutic environment.

The Mental Health Technician (MHT) will:

• Provide direct patient care and supervision in a behavioral health setting
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment at all times
• Conduct routine patient safety checks and observations
• Support patients with daily living activities as appropriate
• Respond appropriately to situations and behavioral escalations
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to support patient care plans
