Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • TIG welding of nonferrous alloys: brass, aluminum, etc. for furniture building.

  • Provide assistance with manual machining & milling.

  • Performing set-up and production operations on projects of a wide variety, while maintaining standards for safety & quality.

  • Understanding and using PPE

    • KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a production environment

  • Proven track record with hand tools, power tools, and typical shop equipment (band saw, drill press, grinding/sanding machines, etc.)

  • 3-5 years of MIG & TIG welding on steel required (16 gauge-quarter inch thickness)

  • Highly advanced in interpreting blueprints and drawings.

  • Consistent attention to detail; ensuring highest quality of finished products and minimal rework.

  • Experience with furniture building, architectural elements, or mechanic work (or similar field) required.
