Proactive Global is currently is looking for a Metal Finisher/ Fettler to join one of our well established customers based in Sunbury on Thames.

Pay rate: £14- £16 per hour depending on experience.

Job specific duties

• Working with stainless steel commonly up to 3mm
• To ensure that the visible surface areas of metalwork are finished to the required standard
• Prepare welded products before finishing (tidying welds, deburring, etc)
• Finish welded products as per the customer requirement for that order. Such finishes to include:
• Vapour Blast (glass media)
• NROB
• Grained
• Ability to work from engineering and manufacturing drawings on your own
• To record changes required to drawings to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately
• Able to use safely associated machines and tools eg (guillotines, rollers, stud gun, grinders, power files, drills.) <...
