Plans, organizes, directs and staffs daily operations for pickup and delivery (P&D) to provide outstanding service to customers, meeting service and productivity goals.
Essential Functions
Promotes safety above all by supporting and implementing safety best practices, requirements, and initiatives and embracing new safety technology.Coaches drivers to work more effectively through honest and direct conversations. Ensures compliance with FedEx policies and procedures, CSM, safety and injury reporting, and training requirements.Addresses and resolves complex service issues with customers.Adjusts routes and employee schedules to meet delivery commitments. Develops contingency plans for unexpected situations.Leads team in adapting to changing business requirements and new technology. Achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for their organization.Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Education
