About the Role


Reporting to the Superintendent Mining Engineer, this is a hands-on planning role where you’ll play a key part in shaping how the underground operation runs day to day and into the future.

You’ll be responsible for designing workable, practical mine plans and schedules that the site can rely on, from monthly and quarterly plans through to longerterm forecasts. It’s about more than just producing a plan; you’ll be working closely with operations to make sure it’s achievable, tracking how it performs, and continuously looking for ways to improve it.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own short-term planning, delivering clear and achievable monthly and quarterly schedules

  • Contribute to longer-term planning, including life-of-mine development and budget/forecast schedules

  • Monitor performance against plan, identify gaps, and find smarter, more efficient ways of working
