UPMC Western Maryland is seeking an observant Monitor Technician to join their team of Life-Changers!

This is a casual position, meaning the selected candidate will work on an as-needed basis. This position offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for cross training to other areas, as well as an excellent intro to the healthcare field! Additionally, if you want to provide patient care without being 'patient-facing', this position can be the best of both worlds!

As a Monitor Technician, you'll provide continuous visual surveillance of numerous patient cardiac rhythm monitors and notify appropriate nursing personnel immediately of changes and/or life-threatening dysrhythmias. Performs quality EKGs. Place and scan Holter monitors. Transtelephonic Pacemaker Clinic (if cross-trained).
