The teaching assistant is responsible for always maintaining a safe and instructive learning environment in the laboratory. It is a requirement to attend all pre-lab sessions, all laboratory sessions, meetings with lab curator, and the instructor of record. Teaching assistants are responsible for performing teaching or teaching-­related duties to assist the instructor of record for teaching laboratories, proctor exams, grades tests and homework, provide timely and constructive feedback, and record grades in learning management system (LMS) grade book.
