Essential Functions

• Data gathering like number of turns, measurements of winding and core
• Rewind small and medium-sized distribution motors and generators
• Operate wire‑coiling machines to wind wire coils used in motors and electrical equipment
• Select and load materials such as workpieces, objects, and machine parts into equipment used
• Measure and cut slot insulation
• Perform miscellaneous operations such as dismantle and clean parts
• Insert coils and connect as per data
• Fabricate and insert new slot wages
• Apply insulating varnish to winding
• Assist technician during initial and final electrical test
• Assist technicians in no load test
• Record winding data to log book for reference
• Paint the unit base on original color or as per customer
• Help others with more complicated jobs
• Perform other related duties as assigned
