Position Summary
The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This individual plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring accurate imaging, and contributing to the collaborative environment of the Imaging Department at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established departmental protocols for all body parts, including neuro, musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, and vascular imaging.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of specialized protocols, including stroke, neuro, and abdominal MRI techniques.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure, maintaining a calm, compassionate, and reassuring demeanor.
