Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. The incumbent serves as Registrar and performs a variety of duties which include the full management responsibilities of all museum objects and their records. Responsibilities As a Museum Specialist (History), you will: - Ensure that proper procedures are followed with regard to the proper accountability, registration, documentation and care of the collections from the establishment phase for a new Presidential Library forward. - Coordinate and administers both incoming and outgoing loan requests for the Library. - Assist with exhibitions, including researching, writing, and coordinating object selection and preparation efforts with design and production staff. - Perform research related to the collections to support production of text for labels and scripts and developing and maintaining catalogues.
