Nephrology Pediatrics- College of Medicine Full-time, non-tenure track, clinician-educator or clinician-scientist faculty position (Assistant Professor rank). Academic rank at the time of appointment shall be commensurate with experience and credentials.

Responsibilities

The primary role for this position contributes to the clinical, educational, and/or research mission of the Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension. Involvement in outpatient, inpatient and renal replacement services. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision and Values.

  • Primary supervisory responsibilities include training and supervision of residents and fellows in the context of nephrology and related areas, including for the Leadership Education in Pediatric Nephrology Programs. The Department supports efforts in curriculum and program development in the variety of settings.
