Responsibilities
Requires: professional certification (CCNA or CCNP).

+ Support the network infrastructure for LAN/WAN services at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on behalf of the Center for Information Technology (CIT).

+ Coordinate work actions to ensure the NIH network infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and operational, enabling scientific research and progress.

+ Respond quickly and thoroughly to incidents, requests, and outages to maximize network uptime for scientists, researchers, and staff.

+ Leverage networking expertise to develop solutions in a fast-paced, highly collaborative federal environment that balances security and compliance with scientific discovery.
