Summary The Network Hands & Feet Engineer is responsible for providing on-site physical support within the data center. This role ensures the smooth operation of network and IT infrastructure by performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with remote engineering teams while adhering to standard operating procedures and security policies.
Responsibilities
Perform rack and stack installation of network and IT equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, servers)
Execute structured cabling (fiber and copper), including labeling and documentation
Handle power-related tasks such as cabling,power cycling, and basic power maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and preventivemaintenance of data center equipment
Replace and troubleshoot faulty hardwarecomponents (PSUs, line cards, fans, optics, cables)
Provide console access and remote supportassistance to engineering teams
