**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience with networking protocols and troubleshooting.
+ Experience in telecommunications, optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, and Layer 2 or Layer 3 routers and data services.
+ Experience with fiber types and their application, physical fiber characteristics, and standard testing tools (OSA, BERT, OTDR).
+ Experience with optical networking and deployment.
