Job Description

O‐RAN MAC Development Engineer to design, develop, and optimize 4 G LTE MAC layer components for an O‐RAN–based Non‐Terrestrial Network (NTN) system. The role involves adapting LTE MAC procedures to satellite‐specific constraints while ensuring compliance with O‐RAN and 3 GPP standards.

Strong experience in LTE (4 G) MAC layer development Solid understanding of 3 GPP LTE protocols: MAC, RLC, PHY interaction Proficient in C/C++ programming (real‐time or embedded systems) Experience with scheduler design, HARQ processes, and RACH procedures Knowledge of O‐RAN architecture and DU software stacks Familiarity with satellite / NTN concepts: Long RTT, Doppler shift, timing uncertainty Experience with Linux‐based development ...
