This position emphasizes timely evaluation, triage, diagnostic planning, and early intervention, ensuring patients avoid unnecessary emergency department visits or hospitalizations. The NP is part of a multidisciplinary team, with expedited access to cardiologist and cardiac specialty care. Patients requiring urgent assessment following an emergency department or primary care visit are seen at this clinic which is based at Kelowna General Hospital.
The clinic operates by appointment from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
